The 'specky' is arguably one of the most unique and greatest components of Australian Rules Football.

In years gone by, we've seen players reach unchartered heights as they stand on their opponent's shoulders and leap toward the sky.

It comes as no shock that Collingwood's Jamie Elliott is one of this year's Mark of the Year finalists for his extraordinary efforts on Anzac Day.

Elliott's efforts were rivalled by his teammate Bobby Hill, who rose above a pack to take one of the hangers of the season against North Melbourne.

But arguably, the best was saved to last, with Kangaroos young gun in Round 21 soared above Richmond's Noah Balta.

The 2024 Virgin Australia Mark of the Year winner will receive $50,000 and two million Velocity Points – enough Points for two people to redeem return Business Class Reward Seats to over 500 destinations around the world*.

Voting is now open, with the overall winner determined by a combination of votes from the AFL All-Australian Panel and the public. The winner will be announced at the 2024 Brownlow Medal on Monday, September 23.
