AFL’s 22under22 squad for 2020 revealed

The AFL's 22under22 40-man squad for 2020 has been revealed, with the Gold Coast Suns boasting a league-high eight players.

It features Charlie Ballard, Connor Budarick, Jack Lukosius, Jack Bowes, Noah Anderson, Ben Ainsworth, Ben King and Izak Rankine, with Matt Rowell not meeting the criteria as he did not play eight games this season.

The Dockers have four players in the squad, while the Blues, Lions, Tigers and Saints all have three members.

16 of the 18 clubs have at least one representative, with Adelaide and Melbourne being the only two teams without a player.

Players must be aged 22 and younger throughout the entire season including finals to be eligible for selection.

This marks the the eighth edition of the AFLPA’s 22under22 team - with the final team set to be unveiled on September 22.
