Jeremy Cameron has been named as the highest earner in the AFL, ahead of Lance Franklin and Nat Fyfe.
The Herald Sun released the second part of its top 100 rich list in the AFL and named the GWS forward as the highest earner on a wage between $1.5-1.55 million.
However, during Covid-19 Cameron's salary drops to $1.08-1.16 million, which still puts him ahead of fellow Sydneysider Lance Franklin who earns around $1.4 million per season.
Fremantle captain and two-time Brownlow Medalist Nat Fyfe is the third-highest earner in the league on $1.2 million per season, just ahead of Richmond superstar Dustin Martin who earns $1.175 million per year.
All salaries have decreased this season due to Covid-19, therefore only Camerson and Franklin are earning over a million dollars during the global pandemic.
The biggest surprise on the list is Carlton recruit Jack Martin who is fifth on the list, however his contract is heavily inflated as the deal was front-ended as the Blues had cap space to fend off fellow suitors for the former Gold Coast player.
