The AFL is set to resume play on June 11, according to AFL Media's Damian Barrett.
Barrett reports that all 18 AFL clubs were made aware in a phone hook up on Friday morning.
It included permission to return to non contact training next Monday, while contact training at clubs will be allowed from May 25.
All players and officials will be tested at least 24 hours prior to the contact sessions with results handed back before those sessions to ensure the safety of the players and club.
Adelaide, Port Adelaide, Fremantle and West Coast look set to resume their matches in quarantine hubs on the Gold Coast with both the SA and WA states holding strict border restrictions now allowing them to play in their home states.
It is believed that the first few rounds of the rebooted fixtute will be made public next week.
AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan will reveal more information about the league's return plans when he adressed the media at 12.45pm AEST today.
