A jumper clash on Sunday's ANZAC Day match between Collingwood and Essendon has created a stir among fans and pundits.
And it even caused Magpies coach Nathan Buckley to ask his players at halftime if it caused any confusion on the ground.
Concerns were raised immediately last week when Collingwood's guernsey was released, with both clubs donning predominately all black kits.
In a contest where the Pies were sloppy with their disposal, Buckley admitted post-match he quizzed his troops about the jumper mismatch at the main break.
“I actually asked the boys at halftime, is there anything in the guernseys?” Buckley told reporters.
“Are we not picking our players out who were 35-40 metres away, because it looked like we were not picking them. But that was not an issue.”

Melbourne great Garry Lyon went so far to call the jumper clash "amateurish".
“You’ve got the biggest home and away game of the year, and you’ve put two teams out there in black jumpers,” he said on Fox Footy.
“It is dumb. It makes us look amateurish, that’s the bottom line. How it happens is beyond me.”
