GWS coach Adam Kingsley is well aware of his side's forward 50 focus as key tall Jesse Hogan has taken his game to new heights.

Hogan is pushing for his first All-Australian nod after slotting 61 goals in 21 outings this year, with 25 of those majors coming in the last six weeks.

Kingsley did acknowledge that despite the 29-year-old's "hot hand", there was no reason to panic given the breadth of options the Giants have up forward.

"At times we can be (Hogan reliant)," Kinsgley said.

"I think he's a pivotal player in such great form for us that we tend to go to him. He's the hot hand.

"But understanding though that if opposition commits too much to him, then other guys open up and we'll be able to use them as avenues toward goal.

"I feel like we are in a pretty good space ahead of the ball particularly.

"Jesse is shouldering a lot of that load but as we saw in the last quarter last week, we do have other guys who are capable, albeit without Toby Greene having an enormous influence.

"I feel like we have a lot of options."

Vying for an All-Australian jacket as well is half back Lachie Whitfield, who is keen to add to his 2018 honour.

Whitfield's campaign has flown under the radar, despite averaging career highs in disposals (30.6), rebound 50s (5.8), and disposal efficiency (81.9%), whilst maintaining 4.5 score involvements and seven marks a game.

Competing against Bailey Dale, Dan Houston, Dayne Zorko, Max Holmes and Nick Blakey for the position, Kinglsey said his rebounder would get the nod if it was up to him.

"Personally, I think he is the best half-back in the League now," Kingsley said.

"I think it's a no-brainer, myself."

Both Whitfield and Hogan have been crucial to the club's mini-revival which saw them drop from first in Round 5 to 10th in Round 16 before making a charge back to the top four.

With a double chance on the line, their chances will be bolstered by the return of key midfield duo Stephen Coniglio and Kieran Briggs.

"Yeah, it appears so. I'll check in with the medical staff after lunch, but it looked like 'Cogs' is good to go," Kingsley said.

"Briggsy is in the same boat, so I expect him to be fine. Again, I'll check with medical later."

Giants tagger Toby Bedford may also have his hands full this weekend when the club takes on Fremantle on Saturday.

Bedford has quickly made a name for himself as one of the competition's best run-with players and could be tasked with a role on Caleb Serong and Jordan Clark, while Andrew Brayshaw and Hayden Young are potential options.

However, Kingsley was coy about who the former Demon would go to.

"Toby will come to one of them," he said with a grin.

"We haven't decided (who) yet. We'll have match committee later this afternoon."
