Richmond is utilising the expertise of an Olympian who will assist recovering Tigers, while a veteran defender's pre-season isn't going to plan.
Australian middle-distance Olympian Peter Bol was spotted at the club's Punt Road headquarters on Wednesday, jogging alongside members of the Tigers' rehab group during training.
Bol, who is understood to have connections to the Tigers' conditioning staff, will make appearances at Tigerland throughout the pre-season as he prepares for the Paris Summer Olympics in July, perย 9News.
Wednesday's Richmond rehab group included superstar Dustin Martin, who continues to recover from a rolled ankle suffered during a recent session, as well as veterans Tom Lynch and Dion Prestia.
Lynch, nursing yesteryear's foot injury, continues to edge closer to a full return to the side's 2024 preparations, while Prestia is managing a hamstring complaint.

Grimes relinquished his co-captaincy mantle ahead of the new season, with ruckman Toby Nankervis pencilled in for sole duties this year.
Richmond has scheduled practice hitouts with Melbourne and Collingwood before embarking on its Opening Round meeting with Damien Hardwick's Gold Coast Suns.
