The Essendon Football Club have released the jumper numbers to be worn by the storied club's five recent draftees.
While the latest additions to the Bomber's brethren are all set to continue the legacies created by several club champions, current Hangar hangers Will Snelling and Kaine Baldwin will also don different digits on their guernseys in 2022.
The much improved Snelling is set to wear number 11 which was recently vacated following David Zaharakis' retirement and Baldwin will trade 39 for 26 as he continues to press his claims for an AFL debut.
After being selected with the 13th selection of November's National Draft, Ben Hobbs will commence his career with the number 8 emblazoned on his back.
Whilst neither a redheaded deadeye or a dogged defender, the country Victorian will follow in the footsteps of club champions Darren Bewick and the late Neil 'Nobby' Clarke.
Fellow newcomers Alastair Lord, Garrett McDonagh, Patrick Voss and former Crow Jake Kelly will fill lockers 28, 36, 39 and 29 respectively.
Essendon will start their 150th season when they face Geelong at the MCG on Saturday, March 19.
