โ€œBachar is an outstanding person and player, and we love having him at our football club,โ€ Hartley told the club website.

โ€œHeโ€™s having an exceptional season, and weโ€™re looking forward to him continuing to have an impact next year both on and off the field.โ€

The 2017 premiership star's Bachar Houli Foundation continues to be a success in helping Islamic youth through football and leadership programs.

Houli was proud of his efforts both on an and off the field.

โ€œIโ€™m very happy to continue my football career at Richmond, and to launch the Foundation that will support Islamic youth to develop their leadership and cultural connection,โ€ he said.

โ€œIโ€™m really proud of the work weโ€™ve achieved so far with all of our programs, and Iโ€™m incredibly excited to take our work to the next level with the establishment of the Foundation with the Richmond Football Club.โ€
