Fremantle recruit Harley Bennell has put in an impressive performance for Peel Thunder in the WAFL on the weekend.
Bennell kicked four goals and finished with 23 disposals, as he among his side's best players in Peel's eight point loss to Subiaco.
I'm not subscribing at all to a Freo slide in 2016. Same team + Harley Bennell that won 17gms in 15. Still great midfield & well coached.

Fremantle teammates Clancee Pearce (32 disposals), Matt de Boer (26), Connor Blakely (25) and Lachie Weller (21 disposals and two goals) also enjoyed good hitouts prior to round one, while ruckman Zac Clarke booted two goals.
Ross Lyon: (Harley Bennell) has got great speed..and plenty of improvement in him. He's lean, he's strong and fit. #AFLTonight

Bennell and pick No. 22 arrived at Fremantle from the Gold Coast in exchange for picks 16 and 35 during last season's trade period after the Suns sacked the 23-year-old after yet another off-field indiscretion.
I didn’t want him to come tot he Dockers originally, but have to say I am pleased as punch now.He could be the link we have missed. He will provide the extra goals we need to kick bigger scores. He will not kick bags every week, but at the GC he kicked goals on a regular basis. He will feed out goals to other players and take pressure of a few of the mids.
Looking forward to seeing him don the Imperial Purple next Sunday.
