The teams and players with the best and worst kick inside 50 has been revealed.
With help from Champion Data, foxfooty.com.au unveiled every side's scoring rate and the last and most effective players kicking inside the arc.
Despite being widely dubbed the most ineffective team with ball in hand, Essendon actually rank fourth in the competition for scoring rate inside 50.
Geelong, Collingwood and GWS, who are all sitting in the top three, are the only teams with a higher scoring rate to Essendon.
Melbourne rank 18th for scoring inside 50, with the Suns and Tigers not far ahead.

With regards to players, the stats reveal the retention rate of kicks inside 50, which is based on the team keeping possession of the ball after it goes in there.
Brisbane's Dayne Zorko has the most effective kick inside 50, ahead of Hawthorn's Jack Gunston and St Kilda's Jack Newnes. Fremantle's Bradley Hill and Collingwood's Scott Pendlebury round out the top five.
As for the players with the most wasteful kicks inside 50, Clayton Oliver leads with just an 8.9 per cent retention rate, followed by Adelaide's Rory Sloane and Fremantle's Ed Langdon. Brisbane's Hugh McCluggage and Port Adelaide's Travis Boak cap off the worst kicks inside 50.
