Back Pocket: Heath Shaw (GWS)
The Giants veteran kept Port star Robbie Gray to only two goals and had 28 disposals and five marks and provided GWS with plenty of run in their 22-point win over the Power.
Full Back: Tom Clurey (Port Adelaide)
Clurey played one of his best games for the club in an otherwise disappointing night where the Power went down to the Giants by 22 points. The young defender had 16 disposals at 81% efficiency and took nine marks.
Back Pocket: Rory Laird (Adelaide)
Laird has been in great form since he has come back from a hand injury and he was one of the best players on the ground in the Adelaide Crows thrilling five-point win over the Lions on Saturday night. Laird finished with 29 disposals and kicked a goal and provided plenty of rebound from defence all night.
Half Back: Alex Witherden (Brisbane)
Witherden is one of the favourites for this year’s AFL Rising Star and his game on Saturday night against the Crows certainly did his chances no harm at all. The young defender finished with 31 disposals and 12 marks.
Centre Half Back: Jeremy McGovern (West Coast)
The versatile defender must be a real chance of winning a spot as an All-Australian this year and he had 20 disposals, 14 of those being contested and took six marks.
Half Back: Lachie Whitfield (GWS)
Whitfield was terrific down back for the Giants in their 22-point away victory against the Power. The 2012 number one draft pick finished with game high 31 disposals and took eight marks to be one of the best players on the ground.
Wing: Josh Kelly (GWS)
Kelly was fantastic for the Giants in their 22-point victory over the Power on Sunday. The gun midfielder finished with 30 disposals, had five clearances, six inside 50’s and laid five tackles.
Centre: Tom Mitchell (Hawthorn)
The red-hot favourite to win his first ever Brownlow Medal, Mitchell did his chances no harm at all with a best on ground performance in the Hawks' big 72-point win over the Blues on Sunday. Mitchell had 46 disposals and kicked 2.2, took nine marks and laid nine tackles.
Wing: Elliot Yeo (West Coast)
The former Lion was fantastic for the Eagles in their 54-point victory over the Bulldogs. Yeo had 28 disposals, took six marks, laid eight tackles and finished with seven inside 50’s.
Ruck: Brodie Grundy (Collingwood)
Grundy was instrumental in helping the Pies to a great win over the Roos on Saturday. Grundy finished with 17 touches, 28 hit outs and kicked a goal.
Rover: Dion Prestia (Richmond)
The former Gold Coast Sun was best on ground in the Tigers' impressive 54-point win over the Saints on Friday night. The midfield hard-nut finished with 26 disposals at 85% efficiency and kicked 3.1.
Ruck Rover: Clayton Oliver (Melbourne)
The Demons young gun had a game-high 40 disposals, 20 of those were contested, laid six tackles and had eight inside 50’s in their two point after the siren shattering loss to the Cats on Saturday night.
Half Forward: Devon Smith (Essendon)
The former Giant is having a great first up year at his new club and Saturday night was no exception in helping the Bombers to a 29-point win over the Dockers. Smith kicked two goals, laid ten tackles and had 23 disposals.
Centre Half Forward: Tom Hawkins (Geelong)
The big forward is in career best form and kicked 7.0 in the Cats' thrilling two-point win over the Dees on Saturday night. Hawkins also took eight marks and had 19 disposals.
Half Forward: Orazio Fantasia (Essendon)
The South Australian live-wire forward was superb in helping Essendon keep their finals chances alive with a 29-point win over the Dockers. Fantasia kicked 5.1, had 19 disposals and took nine marks.
Forward Pocket: Hugh Greenwood (Adelaide)
Greenwood kicked a career high 4.3 and racked up 17 disposals to help the Crows to a thrilling five-point victory in one of the games of the round against the Lions on Saturday night.
Full Forward: Patrick Dangerfield (Geelong)
The 2016 Brownlow Medallist had another fantastic game for the Cats and played a big part in helping his side to a two-point victory over the Dees on Saturday night. Dangerfield finished with 2 goals and had 28 disposals, 17 of those being contested and had nine clearances.
Forward Pocket: Luke Breust (Hawthorn)
Breust kicked five goals and 14 disposals at 86% efficiency in the Hawks' big 72-point victory over the Blues on Saturday. Breust is now equal third with Geelong’s Tom Hawkins in the AFL goalkicking leader board. Both players having kicked 41 goals each.
Bench: Matt Crouch (Adelaide)
The ball magnet finished with a game-high 40 disposals and had eight clearances in the Crows’ five-point victory over the Lions on Saturday night.
Bench: Scott Pendlebury (Collingwood)
The Pies skipper was one of the players on the ground with 30 disposals at 87% efficiency to help the Magpies to a big 66-point victory over the Roos on Saturday.
Bench: Aaron Young (Gold Coast)
Young played his best game at his new club and helped the Suns to an upset 24-point victory over the Swans on Saturday. The former Power forward kicked four goals for the Suns and had 17 disposals.
Bench: Gary Ablett (Geelong)
The two-time Brownlow Medallist was immense in the final term for the Cats and racked up 14 disposals and had five inside 50’s to finish with 31 for the game as well as seven clearances for the match.
