Carlton has released injury updates on trio Blake Acres, Sam Docherty, and Patrick Cripps ahead of the club's elimination final against Sydney in two weeks' time.
In positive news first and foremost, according to the club's injury update on Monday evening, Acres has been cleared of a fracture after being substituted out of Carlton's Round 24 loss to GWS with a collarbone injury.
Acres was hip-and-shouldered by GWS forward Brent Daniels during the third quarter and was removed from the contest shortly thereafter.

While the wingman has avoided severe damage, he isn't out of the woods, as Acres will be managed throughout the course of the next week and a half before needing to undergo a fitness test to determine his availability for the Blues' matchup with the Swans.
As for Cripps and Docherty, who each missed Carlton's final-round game against the Giants at the weekend through soreness, both are available for selection for week one of finals.
