Carlton co-captain Patrick Cripps will miss his side's clash with Port Adelaide after being a late withdrawal for the Blues.
The star midfielder has been taken out of David Teague's side due to quad tightness, with Carlton handing Corey Durdin his debut game.
Durdin will join Brodie Kemp in the side, with the pair playing their maiden AFL matches in Saturday afternoon's fixture.
The late change is the second for the Blues, with Jack Martin also making way for the Blues, with Levi Casboult coming into the 22-man side.
Martin will miss the remainder of the Blues' season, joining the likes of Liam Jones, Zac Williams, Jack Silvagni and Harry McKay.
Carlton will face Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval at 4:35pm AEST.
