Zach Merrett has jumped to third on the MVP table after yet another standout performance in the Bombers' midfield, with the skipper leading his troops to a five-goal runaway win with 29 touches and a goal.

Merrett's 18 votes were a game-high, even with teammates Jake Stringer and Sam Durham doing their best to steal the limelight.

Patrick Cripps' 41 touches had him tied for third best on a night when big bulls Tom De Koning and Charlie Curnow had a major say, but with 14 votes, he climbs to fourth place right behind the Bombers onballer.

De Koning's eyes lit up when he saw a familiar face lining up next to him for a brotherly ruck clash, taking authority as the elder and putting up one of the performances of the season; 25 touches, 34 hitouts, six tackles and a goal with the perfect 20 to boot.

The Oscar 'Big-O' McInerny'stook home top-vote honours in Brisbane's Power party crash, kicking three snags in probably his career-best game while Lachie Neale did as he pleased from McInerny's 31 hitouts.

Neale creeps into the top 10 with his 16 votes and is sending an ominous warning as Brisbane continue their rampage toward September in the second half of the season.

All of the Sydney big three held their spots in the top 10, with Errol Gulden overtaking Chad Warner with his 41 disposals and third Brett Kirk Medal.

Just two votes for top-of-the-table Isaac Heeney leaves the door wide open for Marcus Bontempelli and Nick Daicos to charge through after their Round 15 rest.
