The Box Hill Hawks have beefed up their list for the 2021 season with five former AFL players.
As reported by The Herald Sun's Paul Amy, Box Hill have added ex-Bulldogs Fergus Greene and Callum Porter, former Cat Jordan Cunico, former Lion Hugh Beasley and delisted Saint Ed Phillips.
Greene, Porter and Phillips were all let go by their respective clubs at the end of last season, Beasley departed the Lions at the end of 2016 and Cunico was delisted by Geelong at the end of 2019.
Perhaps the most prolific of the signings are Phillips and Cunico, who both played 15 AFL games.
Box Hill has not yet finalised their list for 2021 but have signed off on the over-22 component of their squad.
Under new rules clubs aligned with AFL sides are only permitted to have 12 players over 22 years of age.
