Geelong star Gary Ablett has been handed a one-match suspension for his hit on Gold Coast midfielder Anthony Miles on Saturday night.
After avoiding suspensions over the past two weeks, Ablett has finally been hit with a ban, after Match Review Officer Michael Christian deemed the incident to be intentional conduct with low impact to the head.

If Ablett misses his side's clash with Sydney this weekend, it'll be his first suspension throughout his 331-game career.
It was the only suspension Christian handed out over the weekend, with Melbourne's Clayton Oliver ($2000), GWS' Toby Greene ($2000) and St Kilda's Luke Dunstan ($2000) all fined for separate incidents across round 10.
