The AFL have confirmed the 2018 Grand Final will begin at 2.30pm on Saturday, September 29, according to The Age journalist Jake Niall.
Niall confirmed the news on Friday afternoon, ahead of a press conference by AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan who will officially confirm the start time of 2.30pm for another year.
The AFL Commission decided to keep the bounce in an afternoon time slot, despite increasing speculation it would change to a twilight start time.
