West Coast forward Jack Darling will miss the next 4-6 weeks after going down with an ankle injury on Saturday night.
Eagles general manager of football Craig Vozzo said Darling and the club were relatively pleased regarding the diagnosis, after sustaining a hairline fracture and some ligament damage to his ankle.
โAfter initially fearing the worst, weโve received some reasonably positive news from our doctors, all things considered,โ Vozzo told westcoasteagles.com.au.
โHeโll be out for probably a four- to six-week period, so factoring in the bye he hopefully wonโt miss too much football.
โJack is a real professional in how he approaches all facets of his football, so weโve got every confidence thatโll heโll be back sooner rather than later.โ
