Richmond coach Damien Hardwick has confirmed new recruit Tom Lynch will take the field against Carlton on Thursday night in the 2019 season opener.
Lynch was fighting to be fit after sustaining a knee injury towards the back end of last season, but has done enough to be named in Round 1.
Hardwick speaks to the media this morning confirming that Tom Lynch will play his first game for Richmond tomorrow night against Carlton.
