The Round 21 clash between Hawthorn and Collingwood has been forced to find a new venue after the Tasmanian Government cancelled the game.

The Pies were set to head to Tasmania to play for premiership points for the first time ever with the proposition of playing in front of crowds a welcome change to the empty stadiums in Victoria.

However, with the growing COVID cluster in Melbourne as of Wednesday night Tasmania premier Peter Gutwein said the game at UTAS Stadium would not go ahead meaning the AFL have been left scrambling.

The game has been relocated to the MCG and will take place in the same timeslot of 2:10pm AEST on Sunday.

There will again be no fans in attendance as per the Victorian Governments current crowd restrictions with the AFL and state government hoping to see crowds return for round 22 and finals.
