Richmond youngster Nathan Drummond has suffered another injury, sustaining what looks to be another torn anterior cruciate ligament, while playing in the VFL on Saturday afternoon.
Drummond, who suffered an ACL injury in his very first AFL match against Melbourne in round four, 2015, went down clutching the other knee to the one he injured two years.
The 22-year-old was in tears as he was helped from the ground by trainers.
The incident occurred during the second quarter of the match.
He has played a total of five senior games, after managing four matches upon his return from injury in 2016.
Richmond's VFL side lead Sandringham by eight points at half-time.
More to come.
