Hawthorn captain Ben Stratton has been hit with a two-game ban for pinching Bomber Orazio Fantasia, and stomping on the foot of Essendon's Shaun McKernan on Friday night.
He received a one-match ban for the two separate incidents, with his total suspension equaling two games.
Stratton was sent directly to the Tribunal for both incidents, with Match Review Officer Michael Christian suggesting the defender be charged with 'serious misconduct'.
The skipper will now miss Hawthorn's games against Sydney and West Coast.
Pinching and pushing.
