Gold Coast midfielder Brandon Ellis has been subbed out of his side's clash with the Blues after suffering a further setback to his ongoing hamstring issues.
Ellis made his return from a hamstring strain that placed him out of action for two weeks, but has sustained further damage to his troubled leg.
The veteran onballer suffered the injury midway through the second quarter of Saturday's clash after collecting seven disposals and five marks.
Young defender and medical substitute Jack Bowes has since been brought into the game.
At time of writing the Blues lead Gold Coast by 10 points at Marvel Stadium.
