Richmond star Shai Bolton is understood to have agreed to a new deal with the Tigers beyond this year.
As reported by SEN's Sam Edmund, Bolton has reportedly inked a contract extension to remain at Punt Road and earn close to $600,000-per-year, with an official announcement to be made in the coming days.
Bolton has been a large focus of the player market this season, with a potential return to his home state of Western Australia discussed as a possibility for the exciting youngster.

Now, according to Edmund's report, Bolton will turn his back on a possible venture to Perth in remaining with the reigning premiers.
The 22-year-old has had a breakout year in 2021, stepping up in the absence of a number star Tigers onballers.
Bolton is averaging career-best numbers for disposals, goals, inside 50's, clearances and marks this season.

With Bolton's services now reportedly off the table, the Dockers and Eagles could quickly turn their attention to new targets.
Fremantle are currently in a battle to retain gun midfielder Adam Cerra, who is tipped to make a return to Victoria at season's end.
