St Kilda defender Nathan Brown has been handed a three-match ban by the AFL Tribunal for his late bump on Bombers speedster Adam Saad during Friday night's clash at Etihad Stadium.
The incident occurred in the first quarter, where Brown collected an unsuspecting Saad and left him concussed, with the Essendon defender needing to be taken off the field on a stretcher.
Brown was referred directly to the tribunal by MRO Michael Christian and was found guilty of intentional conduct on Tuesday night.
The 29-year old will miss the Saints' final two home and away games against the Hawks and Kangaroos, as well as their round one clash next season.
