North Melbourne captain Jack Ziebell will be free to face GWS in Tasmania this weekend, after the Roos successfully appealed Ziebell's one-match ban for kneeing Richmond's Reece Conca on Sunday.

Ziebell was cited on Monday by match review officer Michael Christian, who initially graded the conduct as intentional, low impact and high contact.

Ziebell will now be available for selection on Saturday when the Roos host the Giants at Blundstone Arena.
