Brisbane is expecting to receive a massive boost in the form of Jack Payne, Brandon Starcevich and Bruce Reville for the club's elimination final against Carlton at the Gabba.

Payne has struggled with a persistent foot issue that has limited his games to 14 in 2024, with his last outing in Round 17 against Adelaide.

The key defender will be a welcome return for the Lions, who are anticipating the Blues to regain both Harry McKay and Charlie Curnow for the final.

Payne, along with Reville (fibula), will play in the VFL on Saturday against Footscray in a bid to tick off the last remaining box to be made available.

Reville has been the substitute in his last three starts before injuring his leg.

Starcevich, who missed the Round 24 win against Essendon with hamstring awareness, is also expected to be available for selection.

According to the club, the 25-year-old has been running and will increase his load over the coming days to ready himself for the rigours of finals football.
