Brisbane star Joe Daniher is reportedly "considering his AFL future" and is no certainty to play next year.
The 30-year-old is said to have spoken to people around him that he is weighing up his future, with Saturday's grand final potentially his last game at the top level, perย 7 News'ย Mitch Cleary.
Daniher is contracted with the Lions until the end of 2025 and is arguably Brisbane's most important player.
The sharpshooting attacker has been with Brisbane since the end of the 2020 season, having ventured north away from the Melbourne football bubble after eight years with Essendon.

Daniher endured a luckless run of injuries in his latter years with the Bombers and has since managed to get his body right in Queensland, playing 95 games in four years as a Lion.
A father-son recruit for Essendon, Daniher managed 108 games in the red and blackย - 15 of which came in his final three years at Tullamarine.
Daniher led Brisbane's goalkicking last year and will take out that title again this year, barring exceptional circumstances at the grand final this weekend, to add to four club leading goalkicker awards as a Bombers player.
The son of Anthony Daniher, Joe claimed All-Australian honours and a best and fairest in 2017 after booting 65 goals for the season.
Saturday's grand final will be Daniher's 204th AFL game, with the key forward booting 393 goals in his career.
Brisbane have already lost veteran midfielder Jarryd Lyons this year to retirement.
