A steep asking price for midfielder Josh Dunkley could see the Brisbane Lions offloading young talent Deven Robertson to West Coast for a stronger draft hand, reports the Herald Sun's Jon Ralph.
"The Dogs will ask for two first-rounders because they think (Dunkley) actually improved as a player recently," Ralph told Fox Footy’s On the Couch.
With Brisbane owning picks 15, 33, 44, and 69, a future first-rounder is likely to be used in a trade for the Western Bulldogs star.
Incoming bids for father-sons Will Ashcroft and Jaspa Fletcher further complicate the Lion's trade period, with Hawk Jack Gunston also up for grabs as a free agent.

"Imagine bringing in Gunston, Dunkley, the Nick Daicos equivalent in Will Ashcroft, so they use up all their picks on their two father-sons," Ralph said.
"They'll have to get inventive then, so I think they’re gonna have to consider the likes of Deven Robertson - West Coast very keen.
"They'll get this deal done but it's going to take every pick this year and next, that might be OK."
Robertson, who captained Western Australia in the NAB under-18 Championships, cemented his place in Brisbane's side last year.
Playing in all three finals in 2022, the 21-year-old midfielder impressed with his defensive game and could be traded for one of West Coast's second or third-round picks (20, 26, 38).
With the club still in a premiership window, Brisbane legend Jonathan Brown believes the cost of acquiring Dunkley and projected no.1 pick Ashcroft is worth the price.
"I think it's worth it because while the window's open, it's right that they give it another crack," the triple premiership Lion said On The Couch.
