2. Thirteen! Thirteeen! Franklin kicks astonishing haul in Tasmania (Round 10, 2012)
Another iconic AFL moment from the last decade, Franklin himself outscored a poor North Melbourne side, 13.4 (82) to the Kangaroos' 9.5 (59) in a historic scoring day for Franklin.
The Hawks crushed the Kangaroos by 115 points in Launceston, as Franklin kicked goal number 13 just as the final siren sounded.
With six seconds left to play, the Hawks went inside 50 one last time. Buddy lost his marker, picked up the half-volley before quickly snapping truly as time expired, finishing with 13 goals for the match.
The goal is accompanied by more iconic Anthony Hudson commentary, who excitedly yells "Thirteen! Thirteeen!", as the ball sails through the posts.
While this is not Franklin's best goal ability-wise, the final haul of 13 goals paired with the commentary makes this a classic and definitely one of Franklin's iconic moments.
