Rhylee West has inked a new deal with the Western Bulldogs and is set to remain at the club until at least the end of 2024.

The two-year extension comes off the back of a solid 2022 campaign for the young Bulldog, playing 14 games, averaging 11.6 disposals and kicking 11 goals.

West was drafted by the Bulldogs as a father-son name in 2018 with pick 26, going on to make his debut the following year.

The 22-year-old said he was excited to remain at the club.

โ€œIโ€™m really excited to extend my time atย VUย Whitten Oval,โ€ West said.

โ€œWeโ€™ve got a great group of players and staff at the Club and weโ€™re really hungry for success.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m looking forward to getting stuck into pre-season and improving on a positive year, continually trying to get the best out of myself.โ€

Bulldogsโ€™ General Manager of List & Recruiting, Sam Power, said the club was looking forward to seeing West continue to develop.

โ€œRhylee took another really encouraging step this season and weโ€™re excited as a Club about his future in the red, white and blue,โ€ Power said.

โ€œWe love what Rhylee brings to the team, and look forward to seeing what else he can do with his opportunities at senior level moving forward.โ€
