Western Bulldogs midfielder Riley Garcia will make his AFL debut this weekend against Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Friday night.
The club announced on Wednesday that Garcia will feature in the Dogs' top-of-the-ladder clash against the Demons, with both sides looking to land their 10th win of the season.
Garcia will be the Bulldogs' fifth AFL debutant of 2021, following in the footsteps of Anthony Scott, Lachlan McNeil, Jordan Sweet and Buku Khamis.
After an impressive start to the VFL season and a long road of injury setbacks in his short career, Garcia's story is sure to excite Bulldogs fans.
Star midfielder Adam Treloar is one confirmed withdrawal from the Bulldogs' win over St Kilda after undergoing surgery on an ankle injury.
