Western Bulldogs duo Harvey Gallagher and Lachie Bramble have signed on to extend their time at Whitten Oval beyond 2024.
Gallagher arrived at the Bulldogs through the 2022 National Draft as Pick 39, but did not debut till Round 1 this year.
The 20-year-old has played all 13 games for the Bulldogs this season, averaging 14 disposals. The midfielder has been rewarded for his consistent start to the season with a two-year contract extension which sees him remain as a Dog till at least the end of 2026.
The midfielder can play a number of roles for the Dogs in their middle, along the wing or as a small forward.
Bramble arrived at the Bulldogs as a rookie on the opening day of the 2024 Pre-season Supplemental Selection Period. The 26-year-old came from Hawthorn after playing 30 games for them since his AFL debut in 2021.
The defender debuted for the Dogs in Round 1 this year and has played every game since for them. Bramble has had a great start to the season, averaging 18 disposals and playing an important role in the Bulldogs' backline.
Bramble has signed a one-year contract extension which sees him remain at the Dogs till at least the end of 2025.
Western Bulldogs' General Manager of List and Recruiting Sam Power said the club is very pleased to have both players extend their time beyond the 2024 season.
โBoth Lachy and Harvey have played important roles within our side this season,โ Power said.
โAfter suffering some injury setback in his first year, Harvey has shown some positive signs as a midfielder, with his versatility a feature in his opening 13 games.
โWe're excited to see Harvey continue to grow into a consistent AFL footballer in the years to come.
โLachy has been a sound addition to our backline, with his athletic traits allowing him to play on some of the best small forwards in the competition.โ
The Western Bulldogs will host Fremantle this weekend at Marvel Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
