Former Coleman Medalist Scott Cummings believes the Western Bulldogs lack leg speed in midfield.
Speaking on AFL Nation during the Bulldogs loss to the Brisbane Lions last night, Scott said the Bulldogs were getting easily beaten because of the lack of speed in the middle of the ground.
“I think they’ve got too many sluggish midfielders, there’s not anyone with real leg speed," he said.
“They need someone as quick as Jason Johannisen in the middle of the ground.
“Macrae gets a lot of the footy, he’s had 31 touches but 21 of those are handballs."
The Bulldogs have a chance to end their three-game losing streak when they face winless Adelaide next Sunday.
