After sustaining a hamstring injury during Bulldogs' 15-point triumph over GWS on Saturday, midfielder Adam Treloar is set to sit out at least two upcoming matches.

Following scans that confirmed a hamstring strain, the team will evaluate Treloar this week to determine an appropriate return-to-play strategy. He could prove to be a costly loss against a rebounding Carlton side this weekend and an in-form Adelaide squad in Round 10.

Unfortunately, the fitness of youngster Jamarra Ugle-Hagan will also be assessed prior to the Saturday night match against the Blues.

Ugle-Hagan sustained an adductor problem during the game in Canberra, and his progress will be monitored in training sessions throughout the week.

The loss of their young star is a worry for Bulldogs fans ahead of their test against Carlton's rock-solid defence led by Jacob Weitering and Lewis Young, with a potential heavy load left on the shoulder of front-man Aaron Naughton.

The Dogs are already without Josh Bruce (ribs), Laitham Vandermeer (ribs) and Roarke Smith (foot) for the coming rounds.
