Western Bulldogs veteran Will Minson has confirmed that he has decided to leave the Whitten Oval.
However, he is currently unsure if he will play on at another AFL club.
The 31-year-old, who has only managed 12 games in the last two seasons, announced to teammates that he will be leaving the club via a video at the club best and fairest on Wednesday night.
"It's sad to say, to come to the realisation that my time at the Western Bulldogs has come to an end," Minson said.
"I'm not entirely sure if that's it, if I'm done. I haven't had a chance to really think about it. I'm getting married in four weeks and at some point I'll have to make a decision as to whether I'm interested in playing on again. But at this stage I really don't know the answer to that."
Newscorp last month reported that Brisbane, Gold Coast, Richmond and North Melbourne had all shown interest in the veteran ruckman.
Minson played a total of 191 games for the Western Bulldogs after being recruited with pick No.20 in the 2002 National Draft.
