Adam Treloar, Stefan Martin, Anthony Scott and Lachlan McNeil will all play their first game for the Bulldogs in Friday night's clash against Collingwood.

The Bulldogs on Wednesday afternoon confirmed all four players would be unleashed, with coach Luke Beveridge announcing the news to the players.

Treloar faces his old side six months after his messy departure from the Holden Centre, Martin comes in to provide ruck support to Tim English and Scott and McNeil will make his AFL debuts.

Having played for the Bulldogs VFL side, Scott, 25, was recently signed by the club via the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period.

“It’s pretty overwhelming, but it’s what I’ve always wanted to do and what I’ve worked so hard to do, so it’s pretty gratifying now to know that an opportunity is now there for me,” Scott said after his elevation to the AFL list in late February, per westernbulldogs.com.au.

“Because I’ve been working for so long for this chance, I definitely won’t take it for granted.”

McNeil, 20, was picked up by the Bulldogs out of South Australia with Pick 11 in the 2020 Rookie Draft.

“It’s probably the best midfield in the competition right now, so it’s pretty exciting,” McNeil said, after he was drafted, per the club website.

“There’s so many people you could shape your game on, but I’m probably most excited to get to watch a bit of Adam Treloar.

“That’s the type of midfielder I’d love to be, that midfielder who runs all day and uses his speed.

“But there’ll be bits and pieces I take from each player, like Dunks’ inside mid stuff and Bont’s exquisite foot skills.”

Collingwood and the Bulldogs meet at the MCG on Friday night at 7.50pm AEDT.
