Veteran defender Dale Morris will play on into a 14th AFL season, after signing a one-year contract extension with the Bulldogs, while Jack Redpath and Lukas Webb have also re-signed.
Morris, who played a pivotal role in the side's drought-breaking premiership last season, managed just 11 games this year due to injury, taking his tally to 241 matches since his debut in 2005.
List Manager Jason McCartney said Morris' experience will continue to be invaluable for the club's youngsters next season.
“On the field, Dale’s versatility down back is invaluable and we know he gives his all every time he pulls on the jumper,” McCartney said.
“He’s been a stalwart at our footy club for many, many years, and with his experience, toughness and work ethic, he’s the ideal player to have around our young group as they continue to grow and mature.”
Meanwhile, Redpath, who knocked back rival offers to re-sign, and Webb, have both signed on until 2019.
“We’ve regularly seen glimpses of what Jack can do on the footy field and we’re confident his best is still ahead of him, McCartney added.
“If he can get some continuity into his game and continues to work hard I have no doubt he can be a real presence for us up forward.
“Lukas has continued to add to his game each year he’s been at the club, and with so much football ahead of him, we’re looking forward to seeing him become the player we know he can be.”
