Carlton forward pairing Jack Martin and Zac Fisher will be sidelined for the next six weeks with injuries.
The Blues announced on Tuesday that Fisher is suffering from an ankle injury picked up late into Carlton's loss to Collingwood last Thursday, while Martin sustained a PCL knee injury in the match.
Carlton's high performance director Andrew Russell revealed the pair won't require surgery but will miss the next six weeks of action.
“Jack Martin was your classic PCL mechanism of knee-on-knee. Initially, he wasn’t too bad coming out of the game but he’s had some swelling,” Russell told Carlton Media.

“That’s going to require him to be on the sidelines for somewhere around six weeks.
“Fisher’s is the opposite to his syndesmosis ankle last year… he’s got some bone stress. We think he’s at this stage he’s going to miss around six weeks of footy and then we’ll see him back out there.”
Russell also revealed that forward Jack Silvagni is likely to return from a shoulder injury for the Blues' clash against Fremantle on Sunday.
