The speculation surrounding Collingwood's senior coaching position is continuing to build, and now Caroline Wilson has thrown another big name into the mix.
With Nathan Buckley only contracted until the end of the year, the AFL community remains divided over who will be Collingwood's senior coach in 2022.

"I haven’t really thought that (Buckley will be coaching in 2021) all year, but I don’t know for certain. Some people say that they’re about to re-sign him, I don’t believe so,” she said.
“I hear Chris Scott has even come into their mind.”
Wilson's co-hosts, including former Collingwood President Eddie Maguire, seemed shocked by the suggestion. She clarified that Scott's name was just one of many being floated by the Collingwood board.

“There’s you (co-host Ross Lyon), there’s Alastair Clarkson obviously,” she said.
“I don’t think Chris Scott will leave Geelong but I think there are people at Collingwood, who’ll be making those decisions who’ll be looking at all those names.”

It remains highly unlikely that Scott would consider a move away from a side many believe to be a serious contender this season.
Despite speculation, the premiership-winning coach has made no indication he wants to leave the Cattery.
