Champion Data have released their elite player rankings as we head towards the pointy end of the AFL season,
As always, the rankings raise eyebrows at those, and those not, awarded the “elite” ranking, with some big names like Brownlow fancy Andrew Brayshaw missing out.
Champion Data base the ratings on AFL Player Ratings, which measure how and where the ball is won, and the subsequent disposal.
Richmond are leading the pack for elite talent, with four Tigers awarded the title, while four teams were deemed to have no players in the elite category.
