It's time for another one of Juddy's weekly top five. This week Judd ranked the best players aged 21 and under for Footy Classified.
Prior to reading out the list, Judd provided a disclaimer saying "I've done this on a mix of performance and potential."
Take a look at the list:
5. Oliver Florent (Sydney)
Only 19 years old, Florent has burst onto the scene and is averaging a solid 17 disposals per game and ranks above average for clearances. Judd evidently based this selection on potential as he said "He's going to be a very damaging midfielder, elite leg speed and really clean with his hands."
4. Brayden Maynard (Collingwood)
A solid asset for the Pies as he plays as though he has many years of experience under his belt but is only 21 years old. "Rarely loses a one-on-one contest." An increase in kicking efficiency was key in making him an exciting young player.
3. Charlie Curnow (Carlton)
One of the league's most exciting big men, already drawing comparisons to Lance 'Buddy' Franklin, the Carlton faithful have a lot of good to say about this kid. Curnow ranks 6th in contested marks and averages 15 disposals per game.
2. Harris Andrews (Brisbane)
A lot of people are starting to learn the name Harris Andrews. In a struggling side, Andrews is giving Lions' fans a lot to be excited for. Andrews ranks number one for spoils per game and Judd definitely has high praise for the kid. "Underrated, I don't think the footballing public realise just how good a player this could be, could be an All-Australian this year."
1. Clayton Oliver (Melbourne)
Oliver is one of Melbourne's most dominant players at only 21 years old. Leading the league in ground-ball gets, it's tough for any side to match-up with him inside. Judd didn't hold back as he predicted Oliver "is going to win a Brownlow medal one day".
