Leading player agent Colin Young doesn't believe that the uncertainty surrounding Alastair Clarkson's North Melbourne future will impact players wanting to go to the club this trade period.
Following last week's allegations, Clarkson voluntarily stood down from his duties with North Melbourne while the AFL's independent investigation gets underway. The move saw some speculate that players who had indicated a desire to join North would now have reservations.
After reports this week indicated Saint Hunter Clark was reconsidering a move to North Melbourne based on the Clarkson uncertainty, Young revealed he didn't think the situation would have massive ramifications.
Speaking to Sportsday WA, Young said he didn't expect "any change of tact" for his client Griffin Logue's trade to the Kangaroos.
“I haven't read anything about it but I'm sure I will in the next few days... It's all alleged at this point in time, I've known Clarko for a long time, and Fages, and they're two of the most outstanding blokes you could ever meet and work with in the industry," Young said.
“So, there's been no change of tact (for Logue's move) along the way.”

There have been suggestions that Clarkson could in fact be stood down for the entire 2023 season, given the length of time investigations of this nature can take. Yet it's not something Young thinks likely to happen.
He went as far as suggesting that Clarkson would be at the helm for the start of pre-season, believing that the four-time premiership coach's former right-hand man Chris Fagan would also return.
“Someone sent me something today by text that a couple of journalists said that they don't think Clarko will be up and about next year,” Young said.

"I'm confident that Clarko will probably be at the club come November 1 with a bit of luck, and probably Fages as well.” he said.
With the likes of Logue, Clark, Bradley Hill and Darcy Tucker all linked to, or having requested a trade to, North Melbourne, the sooner Clarkson returns to the club the better their fans will sleep at night.
