While the earlier starting time of 7:30pm AEST attracted 93,000 Melbourne viewers, up from their harrowing 63,000 last week, The Footy Show only managed to sit fifth in its time slot on Thursday night.
The struggling Channel Nine broadcast included guests Kevin Sheedy, Hamish Blake and Sharni Layton, which still wasn't enough to top Channel Seven's The Front Bar, who recorded their greatest viewership of the season.
A metro audience of 428,000 including 287,000 in Melbourne alone, superseded last weeks total of roughly 250,000 viewers with their new starting time of 8:30pm AEST.
Their ANZAC Day episode included Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley who followed on from his sides four point win over Essendon.
