Collingwood's VFL program has signed departed North Melbourne midfield-forward Curtis Taylor for next season.
The acquisition is a strong one for the Magpies, with Taylor rated as one of the best players to be delisted by an AFL club this off-season.
The 24-year-old has 76 games of experience to his name, with that tally coming across the past six seasons with the Kangaroos.
Taylor was drafted to the AFL in 2018 out of the Calder Cannons and would play two games the following year, making his debut against Geelong in Round 8.
He would play 57 games across the 2021-2023 period before falling out of favour under coach Alastair Clarkson this year, managing just eight appearances at AFL level - the lowest since his maiden campaign in the blue and white.
Taylor overcome pre-season injury issues before starting in the VFL for 2024, with his first senior appearance not coming until Round 10. His final two games for the Roos would come as the tactical sub, with Taylor ending his last season with North Melbourne averaging 10.75 disposals, 3.75 marks and 2.25 tackles per game.
The athletic utility put up strong performances for the Kangaroos at the state league level this year, headlined by a 25-disposal, 14-mark and one-goal outing against GWS.
Taylor was one of six players not offered a new deal by North Melbourne at the cessation of the 2024 season.
He had since landed with Collingwood for next year, joining Andy Otten's ranks in his first move since departing the Roos.
The Magpies amassed just four wins in 2024, finishing 20th on the ladder in a 21-team competition.
Collingwood has also unveiled former Fremantle player Brady Grey as a lead recruit for next season.
