Collingwood have re-signed a trio of players for the future, with midfield duo Patrick Lipinski and Finlay Macrae joined by ruckman Darcy Cameron in recommitting to the club.
Lipinski and Macrae were due to come off-contract this year, adding to the club's list of unsigned players for 2025 - a year where Cameron was already signed.
The Magpies have secured Lipinski to a three-year extension that will see his services tied to the club until the end of 2027.
Both Macrae and Cameron have inked one-year extensions.
“We're pleased to have Patrick, Finlay and Darcy extend their contracts with the Club,” Collingwood football and leadership manager Brendon Bolton said in a club statement.
“Patrick has consistently dedicated time to improving his craft and has proved to be a key contributor within our environment.
“Finlay has shown a strong commitment to his ongoing development and has shown immense improvement over these last few years.
“Since joining us in 2019, Darcy has shown exceptional growth in his game and has not only fulfilled a key role as a ruck but has also been a key target in front of goals.
“We're excited to see where these three players can take their game in 2024 and beyond.”
Lipinski joined the Magpies from the Western Bulldogs via the 2021 trade period, with the onballer playing 40 games in the black and white - including last year's grand final.
Another Magpie at his second club, Cameron is also a member of Collingwood's 2023 premiership side and has spent the past four seasons as a leading ruck option for the Magpies since arriving from Sydney.
Macrae has just entered his fourth season with Collingwood, with the emerging midfielder having amassed a dozen appearances over the past three seasons.
Macrae will be looking to break into Craig McRae's side for the club's upcoming Round 1 clash with Sydney at the MCG on Friday night.
