A decision on the future of young Collingwood gun Ollie Henry is expected to be made in the coming days, with premiers Geelong well in the hunt for the Magpies forward.
Henry is yet to cement his future for 2023, having held off recommitting to the Magpies while an offer has sat on the table for some time.
The 20-year-old was seen as likely to re-sign midway through the 2022 season, however since losing his place in Craig McRae's lineup to athletic spearhead Ash Johnson, Henry has been left on the outer and now considering his place in black and white.
A Geelong Falcons product, Henry is now weighing up a move to Kardinia Park to potentially link up with brother and premiership defender, Jack, in what would be a stunning coup for the Cats after reaching the summit under Chris Scott for the first time in a decade.
Henry isn't the only former Falcon considering a switch to the Cattery, with Giant Tanner Bruhn understood to have named Geelong as his preferred landing spot for 2023.
While Bruhn's call looks to have been made, Henry is expected to meet with his management this week before making a final decision on his playing future, perย 7 News.ย

Henry was spotted among Geelong's celebrations before and after their Grand Final win over Sydney, having been seen at last Friday's parade at the MCG on Saturday alongside Cats players, and again at their premiership cup unveiling in Geelong the day after.
Should both he and Bruhn join Geelong this off-season, the pair would add to an ageing list that will soon be depending on its next wave of developing talent.
The trio of Henry, Bruhn and young winger Max Holmes were all taken in the first-round of the 2020 National Draft, a count which Geelong had initially traded away two early picks to land Jeremy Cameron from GWS.
The Cats traded back into the opening round on draft night to secure Holmes at Pick 20, and now loom as a chance to secure Bruhn and Henry, who went at Picks 12 and 17 respectively.
Both the Giants and Magpies can be expected to request first-round selections in return for their fledgeling youngsters should they seek a move to Geelong.
