Collingwood have confirmed new deals for midfielder Jack Crisp and forward Brody Mihocek in what is a stellar double-signing ahead of Christmas.

Crisp has signed a new three-year deal ahead of the new year, turning his back on free agency to recommit to the club.

Mihocek has inked a new two-year deal, adding to his contract which was set to expire at the end of next year.

“We are really pleased to have Brody and Jack sign new deals that will see them remain at the Club until the end of 2025 and 2026, respectively,” Collingwood football boss Graham Wright said.

“Both players have proven to be consistent performers and, particularly over the past few years, have played a key role in our side's success.

“Jack has not only been highly durable but a highly consistent elite level performer for our Club – he has elite training standards and has really developed as a leader in our midfield and amongst the wider program.

“Brody is a model teammate on and off the field with his work ethic, courage and selflessness setting him apart.”

The pair of signings follow a strong year of signatures falling on the dotted line at Olympic Park this year, with Aiden Begg (2023), Darcy Cameron (2025), Josh Daicos (2024), Jordan De Goey (2027), Charlie Dean (2024), Jamie Elliott (2025), Jack Ginnivan (2024), Ashley Johnson (2023), Will Kelly (2023), Finlay Macrae (2024), Brayden Maynard (2025), Beau McCreery (2024), Reef McInnes (2024), Darcy Moore (2028), Nathan Murphy (2024) and Isaac Quaynor (2025) all re-signing in 2022.

Crisp, who has won the past two Copeland Trophies, is among several Magpies that are sure to be in consideration for the vacant Collingwood captaincy after Scott Pendlebury's decision to step down from the role.

Mihocek joined the Magpies from Port Melbourne as a Rookie in 2017 as a mature-aged recruit and has booted 165 goals from his 102 AFL appearances in the black and white.

The pair will play an integral role in Collingwood's push for the premiership in 2023, with their new campaign to begin against reigning premiers Geelong in Round 1.
