Reports have circled throughout the day that star Collingwood duo Steele Sidebottom and Taylor Adams have suffered injury setbacks.
Well, worry not Pies fans - these rumours are not true!
The Pies took to Twitter twice on Tuesday to confirm that neither Sidebottom or Adams had sustained any injuries.
"He's fine," Collingwood tweeted earlier today with a photo attached of Sidebottom training.
The club tweeted again three hours later, this time with two images of Adams training.
"Taylor Adams is also fine. Reports are false about him re-injuring his hamstring."
Adams suffered a hamstring setback last month and is racing the clock to be fit for Round 1.
“Given where the hammy strain is, this was planned from day one,” he told 9 News Melbourne.
“Hopefully today I get the green light to join the main group and you’ll see me at training tomorrow."
Adams is coming off a career-best season in 2020, averaging 22.6 disposals, 5.4 tackles and 5.2 clearances while appearing in all 19 games, claiming his maiden All Australian blazer and best and fairest.
Collingwood face Richmond in their sole AAMI Community Series clash on Friday March 5 and then open the season proper against the Western Bulldogs on Friday March 19.
